suddenly blocked, what gives and more importantly how to get it back.?

Signed into a new router whilst on holiday, was ok but overnight both my tablet and phone now return errors on wi-fi and mobile data when trying to access adult stuff but it will work if I go through tor.

No, not porn, but yes also porn is blocked

Nope, and I'm not really looking to go that way to get back basic functionality.

Would a proxy server do it? My ISP stopped me from using Pirate bay and Kick ass torrents and the only way I could get in was to go through a proxy server.

Either option should work, and tor does.
But I can't let it go, it used to work, why doesn't it now?

    Which ISP?
What kind of error message when it says it is blocked?
    Any adblocking DNS or plug-ins?

Could be something ISP based. Since a while back they'll generally ask about adult content blocking when you sign up. A new router/login might have reverted things to default if you were never asked initially.
It might be worth a try logging into you ISP account online and having a look to see if there are any settings there.

    Plusnet.
    Not on my end.

If I knew my ISP details that'd be a good shout.
Either way I just don't get how it has screwed up my mobile connection too, and it'll not revert to normal no matter what I've tried.

It'll probably have to keep until I get back home, which 8s a bigger as I was hoping to do some deals on other forums.

If you do find your details Plusnet call the home internet content filtering "Safeguard": https://www.plus.net/my-account/safeguard/

On mobile (assuming it's also Plusnet) you need to contact customer services anyway, so you may find that you can sort out both by doing that without requiring login details: https://www.plus.net/help/mobile/adult-content-locks/

Plusnet is the ISP I'm on presently whilst away, my home ISP is voda, and the phone is on Giffgaff.

I am no expert but my first thought based on the error is device date and time. You mention on holiday, are you travelling and did you change time zones?

A quick google search suggests clearing the browser's certificate cache.

    All sorted.
30 seconds on my home network and all is good again.
Although god knows what they did to reset my mobile content restriction, but that too is now sorted.
