Anyone got a recommendation for a SFX PSU to power my 2080ti?

I currently have a Corsair SF600, which is fine in everything except bombing runs in hell let loose which cause my entire PC to hard reboot on around 1/20 occasions. Very annoying any I am pretty sure the GPU is pulling more wattage than the PSU can handle.

get the sf750? I have one brand new I picked up and don’t need?

Also stuck a temporary loop in my B560.

Not sure. If you use AB to lower the temp and power limit though you should be able to sort that out. And undervolt, always undervolt. I had to do all of the above to get mine to behave temp wise.

Also. Keep an eye on your VRAM temps. I use HWMON.

That was what was causing mine to crash. It was hitting 96c. Not the core, that was fine, but the VRAM. There is no safety net in place for the VRAM, only the core.

Run a couple of benchmarks and keep an eye on that, that may be your culprit.

That is what I was leaning towards? What price did you want for it?

So I don't think its my memory, I have a NZXT G12 on the GPU, which has a fan right over the VRM and memory and keeps the temps right down. I've also added a slim 120mm below the other end of the card (as I believe there are a few more VRMs at that end). Its a strange thing since its 100% stable in all other games and, in fairness when playing HLL for 99% of the time. The bombing runs absolutely tank framerates (down to 20fps even with my setup at 1440p) and are badly optimised. The developers have just said that it is highlighting some instability in the hardware, which could be the case but is a bit annoying because no other game seems to highlight it!

I picked it up from Shirty for £100 posted. Give me a shout if you want it for that, still un-opened.

Are you going to build in it?? Last I heard, you weren't intending to.

Weird, my SF450 managed to run my 5600X + 2080ti system fine. Although I didn't do a formal stress test. I have now swapped to a SF750 anyway.

In the meantime, I'm still waiting on my chinese T1 knockoff, already 3 months since it was meant to ship (although others have gotten the case in hand).

In typical SFF fashion it's completely superfluous as I already have two unoccupied cases (a cheapo Geeek A60p and the Iqunix ZX-1), plus my T1 build I only finished a few months ago. Yet I've already bought a slimline radiator + pumpres combo to maybe do a double radiator build. Just need an excuse why I need another brand-new machine.....

The S4T is really easy to build in. I've just dropped in a small APU set up with the HDPlex 200. I'm hoping the next gen APUs have some decent GPU cores in them, and a small APU build in this would be an excellent all-rounder for media, light gaming and office-type use.

Weeelllllll I'm going to change subject and ask some questions about some ITX gear.

Basically I have an Metallicgear Neo Mini V2.

I've got a heap of a PSU, some aerocool 400w jobbie and I've got 3 Antec RGB fans. I've also got a 1tb clicker.

I need a small OS SSD, some ram, an ITX board and a CPU. I don't need anything crazy as I just want to rub OBS on it and capture from another gaming PC as it'll be a whole load cheaper than getting a 5900x, board and ram plus I'd rather wait until the new and stuff is out at the end of the year/begining of next.

My budget is pretty limited. I'm thinking 8gb ram (£40), 120gb SSD or 250gb (£25-30) and then as cheap as I can get without it being utter rubbish for board and CPU. (Onboard graphics a must even if intel hd).

So then you bunch of knowledgeable forumites.... What should I do?

OK its not new, an not quite SFF, but it will only take ITX, an I should probably take a better photo...
