Saw a broken down McLaren MP12 on the Avon ring road a couple of days ago.

Bet that's going to be expensive

Hahaha I guess it all depends on driving style. I know it's a lot of power in a little car but I'd take good care of it. The roads up where I live are not best suited to boy racers - I couldn't get home a couple of weeks ago because of this idiot blocking the road:

Nothing cool perhaps, but a 'turncoat' farmer was driving around in a brand new German Fendt the other day and not a John Deere.

    Madness. :)

    Addendum
I kind of liked the Green and Red but that's very hush hush.

In a park instead of on the road but... do these count?

Saw a Huracan just along the road from the office and took a couple of snaps for my son; also took a stroll into a Fiat dealership today to get a look at a 595 Competizione up close. Is it any surprise that I now want one even more? Will be booking a test drive soon I think...

No. That was a little far from home for me. I may go to one that's nearer, should he come further north.
This was "EVs in the Park". An annual (except for last year, obvs) electric cars only get together in Coventry last month.

Sadly not, way too far south for me to be bothered travelling.

Will definitely get to one of the events though as I've wanted to meet Smith and Sniff for a very long time, been watching/listening to their content since the beginning.

It was really good. I am considering going to the Leics one, if some other pals are able to go. They're really nice guys - had a good chat with them. If you listen to the podcast, the Newsreader-spec V70 is mine, as driven by my stepson.

Next one appears to be in Leicester, according to their twitter.

My bro went for a supercar driving experience as a birthday present, and I took the two older kids to watch. He drove a GTR (the orange one in the background), a Ferrari California, and a Huracan. He also got a lap as a passenger in an Ariel Atom, which he said was utterly bonkers.

This one really stood out - I believe it is the GTR from the Fast & Furious franchise, which has a much bigger engine than the standard car and is tuned to 800hp. Sounded absolutely immense.

Nice, sounds like a good day!

That one is a 3.8 so slight over-size, would guess at a stroker kit plus the turbos wound up.

That engine is well known for it's strength. I believe drifters take them well past 1000bhp.

Small thread revival, saw this today in the car park of my local...country club I guess we'll call it.
