I'm not sure if i missed somthing, but you are essentially putting one system into 2 joined cases? No offense, this project is innovative and all, but why 2 cases? It seems like cooling is going in one case, and the hardware in another, but why? It would be more efficient to put 2 complete systems in there (although a huge expensive project) instead of just putting in one system. Please explain as i am very confused.

    Good work

why do yeong yang make cubes? and partion them in two pieces.. it keeps PSU hdd's and cd drives etc on one side and your mobo on the other. its pretty much about cooling. theres nothing extra producing heat in the motherboard side.

I just wanted more space for my setup so thought I would try to do this. I was going to get a YY cube but wanted a bigger version than the one you can get in the UK but found it to be about £200 without shipping to the UK, thats when I had the idea to do this. The 2 cases were £38 each and with there size I can fit in the future what ever I want such as a second loop for my nb and gpu and also pelt them so I get even better cooling. Another reason was so I could get the 120.3 rad but I could not afford the PC75 case so thought I would make a case myself just to see if I could

No need to be confused fyber just go with it!!! :D

another reason for the second case is that if Ineed to make any changes to the hardware system I can uncouple the block and take off the cooler part with the res and rad all attached to it and do what I need to do with the hardware case then just reattach the cooler rig.

right little update i know!! I have swopped the ystech fans for panaflo ones as the ystech one were really bad at 7v and 5v they made a buzzing noise when reduced :grr: but the panalofs are great and just feel a lot better quality than the ystech ones.

I also got my final piece the dual 5.25 bayres which is amazing I have used all bayress since rev 1 to rev2 and this dual one is by far the best air trap I have had ever!!

Wow, very nice! How does it perform? With that rad there is some great potential for really cranking that baby up.

thanks for your comment. The system performs great and it really really quiet as the 3 panaflo fans are at 5v. I have my XP1800 running at XP2600 levels and I have not maxed it out yet but for now that is fine. Ihave not overclocked my gpu yet as it is brand new and does not need it yet!! I am just glad I have no 60mm fans in the system now!!

Here is the freshly installed window done in record time 25 mintues and the dremel finish was so goof Ithought about not putting the silver lining on but I prefer the silver lining look to be honest. My thanks once again to Crystalphoto for sending me the bits over the pond cheers mate.

Cool setup...like the idea a lot!!!

Maybe a window kit on the top of the right case would add to the sweetness...just an idea.
