Decided to sell some of my old gear to fund my 2tb SSD.

Thought I'd rather sell my 2600 than my 2600k for obvious reasons so I swap them over, sent the pc over to my daughter's fir her to borrow but she promptly reports it's blue screening.

Tried the chip in my P67 sabretooth which was running fine with my 2500k in it and the same thing happens.

Now is there a way to test it with a prog at boot?

Does it maybe need more voltage as it's getting old.

    Or is it just deado.

Now if I was into conspiracy theories, I might think it was the onset of programmed failure, to drive people to buy new hardware...

    Good thing I am not!
