Looking for suggestions for budget (£50-£75) routers to replace Virgin superhub 3's (put them in modem only mode). This is for a few people who work form home and use VoIP, which has been an issue of later after firmware updates on the phones they use. Some router settings need updating but you can't really do anything on the superhub. Since they are working form home I'm suggesting having a 'proper' router anyway.

I did see that and have experience with the older 1900 model. Need the option to disable SIP ALG. QoS and VPN at the router level would also be beneficial. Disabling SIP ALG is the big one as it causes issues with VoIP. Wasn't an issue until the handsets used got a firmware update.
They're not for me. They are meant to be for the employees of a small business who's owner I know. Two are on virgin and using superhub 3's I believe, 1 on Sky and I don't know about the other 2. My thought is that pretty much anything above £50 would be better than the garbage ISP hubs. It should then mean getting their VoIP phones working properly again and better home connectivity in general. It's a bit of an odd one, I know.
Can't add to recommendations as I have never heard of SIP _ALG but you'll probably want to know that for Sky you cannot do modem mode (I think that is the case for anything on Openreach Fibre unless you have FTTP ONT) you will need to buy a modem/router to replace skys hardware entirely. For that you will need to know what type of DSL connection they have and will probably need support of DHCP Option 61.
