I'm seeing a lot of these cards pop up on so-called "PC Giveaway" sites, especially on FB. Saw one today where a 3080Ti draw was being promoted with an entry cost of just under £20 per ticket.. and you can buy up to ten tickets as well. I mean, maybe for some people paying £200 for these odds is better than paying the actual retail price for the card. Faultless logic.
Nah, cex are getting greedy. They still want top dollar but the amount they're willing to pay pales in comparison.
They pay £735 for a £369 3060Ti is good going, better than mining. Blimey how much do you want them to pay
They paid £2080 for one of my 3090s back in June... (May?), while asking £2600, but then they dropped payouts to less than MSRP and were still asking £2300. They've improved a little recently, but they were seriously taking the piss for a good long while.
I've seen 2 new 3080s from the recent drop sell for £1500 plus postage each. Absolutely insane. I sold my 3090fe for mrsp not sure if that makes me a good guy or an idiot.. ..
depends if the person u sold it was making use of it or sold it. ive been after a 3060/70 to stick in a egpu case a good while always keep missing out tho:/
This market is nuts, so much so I've been thinking of selling my 3080Ti and picking up next generation when they drop later next year.as I finally managed to get a PS5, so now I can play all my PS4 games I have been holding onto due to improved experience on PS5 which allows play in silence and with better performance so might just use that for a bit.
The guy bought it for gaming supposedly but then I spotted him selling mining gear a while later and I also spotted the card being sold on eBay for around £1800 a couple of months later.
I wonder what effect and what price point the 12GB 2060 will have. Looks as though it'll be launching soon. https://www.msn.com/en-us/news/tech...-card-is-coming-to-quell-shortages/ar-AARmdwv
Probably the same one as the 3060. Given it will perform about the same. Nvidia must be loving this. Mugs prepared to pay £500 for a entry level card, no wonder they've had more 2060s made. It also shared that OEMs will be making their own custom versions of the 12GB RTX 2060. Scaply McGOUGEGOUGE
Looks like there won't be any RRP as there are no founders cards. Just AIBs, meaning exactly what I thought. Scalpy McGOUGEGOUGE.
Only Nvidia can sell cards at MSRP. It's why they sell out in minutes. All the partners are competing with scalpers and other sites with massively inflated prices. Not to mention the rise in component cost. I'd swallow the rise in component cost. Its the rise in demand due to scalpers and coin farmers that irks me. I will not pay hundreds over price to be ****ed. Yes I DO like my mediums graphics thank you very much.
