    Hey Guys,

On the off chance someone might know. I have the above board and am planning an upgrade to a 5700G

Now previously APU (2 series) the m2 configuration was one sata and one nvme, what I wanted to know is if I upgrade to the 5700G will both m2's support nvme drives?

    Any ideas?

So it will either be a case it will work with both or wont. Doesnt list 3rd Gen.

The later APUs, the 4xxx and 5xxx give you more PCIe lanes, so should be on par with 3rd gen full fat chips where you can use all the slots, the 2 and 3xxx APUs will give you reduced motherboard options. if your board supports the new chips it should give you full functionality akin to a proper 3xxx.

I'm gonna go with no as the 2nd slot probably won't be wired to allow NVME.

Specs on Asus website clearly indicate only 1 M2 slot supports PCI-E 3, the other is SATA only.
