Got a neighbor who has a teenage lad with learning disabilities. i gifted him some games, car mechanic, lego builders journey, lego marvel super heroes, bit trip runner 1 &2, audio surf and banner saga while his dad is helping him play through the hard bits and he really struggles by him self with lego msh, bit trip and banner saga are there any single-player games on windows/steam thats has super easy modes to help people along? only thing is nothing super violent his dad wasn't sure about banner saga but the lad likes the art work alot but really struggles to progress by himself
My kids love a bit of Fish: Feed and Grow but it might be a little young - but Gamingbeaver likes it so maybe he would! Unsure of the learning disabilities but if he can read OK then... GIANTS IN A PREHISTORIC OCEAN!!! - Fish Feed and Grow | HD - YouTube Day of the Tentacle (plus any other Lucasarts point and clicks) Minecraft - obvs Never Alone Raft and Subnautica if he understands progression type games...
Townscaper is a lovely chill creative game that you can buy on Steam or play for free in your browser. This site's pretty good for accessibility reviews: https://caniplaythat.com/2021/12/13/can-i-play-that-accessibility-awards-2021-the-winners/
Along similar-ish lines to Townscaper, Dorfromantik is another really chill game. Has a bit more of a game aspect to it and you can run out of pieces on normal mode, but there's an option to continue in Creative mode.
Proteus is great for exploration, no game mechanics to speak of, just explore! https://store.steampowered.com/app/219680/Proteus/
