So the Government has taken over £12billion more in taxes than expected due to inflation and oil companies are at about double the profits on last year.

Still, there's no help incoming on the cost of living and no windfall tax on the oil companies.

From what I understand the windfall tax would be on the profits the oil companies weren't expecting anyway, it's about time we weren't continually shafted.

I'll decide when I actually see a platform from Labour. I don't actually know what they are going to run on yet, but a least they have a plausible leader this time around.

In the end we have a small business with a lot of employees and Labour often doesn't seem to like employers.

Dude, anyone is better than the Conservatives. It's not even about who is a good candidate; they are all better by default.

Seriously though, the Tories have left an open goal for years, but Labour couldn't hit the wall of a barn from the inside.

I can't help wondering what kind of state the Labour party would be in had the other Milliband prevailed in the leadership race. No hapless Ed, opening the door for comrade Corbyn and grey starmer.

To be fair, a storefront mannequin would be less embarrassing than Bojo.

I would have been happy to try a bit of chaos with Ed Milliband, myself...

Yeah, but the photo of Boris staring at a pint is no less moronic. It's just that he cultivated the affable buffoon image and can get away with it.

Diane Abbott is as thick as Dominic Raab, it's a shitshow all round with our two major parties.

I voted LibDem about half an hour ago, as they have the best chance of stopping the Liar Party gaining full control of Somerset.

It's incredible that this is the best we can say about our politicians.

As much as Diane Abbott says some stupid ****, I've also heard her talk sense too. (no I can't think of examples of either)

    Nadine Dorries however..... :wallbash:
