Clicking “More Options” then “Preview” works for me.

    Probably an anti-hotlinking/embedding thing.

I liked your post, then went back to see there is now an error message from imgur LOL ... the internet is sometimes soo stupid not letting things work. Personally, any tech problems at all, anywhere in the world, I always blame Gareth Halfacre

Their webpage says they're experiencing technical difficulties

Found an unlabelled CD with some photos on it, including this:

Still using those same speakers, though the Trinitron has sadly long gone - as has the Saitek keyboard!

I commend your choice of monitor... because I still have one!

Anti-glare coating is starting to go, but besides that it still works just great. It's only relegated to the 'under-desk storage area' because a big chungus 32" CRT TV now occupies the desk that the monitor once did.

D'you know, I don't remember what we actually went to see - but I'm pretty certain it wasn't any of the ones on-screen.

I should track down the page on the Wayback Machine, see if that offers any clues...

    Huh. This is weird.

This is the Wayback Machine's copy of the site as it was on the day the photo was taken (according to the EXIF data, anyway). Choosing Bradford and scrolling down the film times, I get:

    upload_2022-6-2_15-23-8.png

Yeah, that's... not what's in the picture. Same story if I go either side of the EXIF date, too: only a partial match. Like I say, weird.

A rare moment when my desk is actually tidy.... ish...

Need a proper desk-mounted stand for that camera, but the janky tripod will do for now (as long as I don't jiggle the desk too hard). Was a toss-up between getting an Elgato ring light or a Stream Deck; went for the Stream Deck in the end because I already have two video lights.

Also not happy with monitor placement, but there's no room on this desk for a 32" screen, a 27" screen, my desktop, and my work laptop. Don't really want to put the PC on the floor, or even some kinda under-desk stand, because dust innit. Maybe I just need a bigger desk :naughty:

PCs can go up as well as down. Install a hefty shelf over your desk and put the PC on it?
Youtuber "The Noobifier" actually has his PC wall-mounted. In the room next door!

This prompted me to look through some old folders as well, and I found this. This is the PC I had when I first joined Bit-Tech... nearly 20 years ago!

I still have the desk, and that's the only thing that has survived.... and it has become more and more untidy over the years.
