All bullsh*t, just like levelling up. There is no way this “government“ is going to provide the plods and the justice system, the requisite funding to enable them to get to where they need to be, in order to be able to do their jobs properly.

They'll do what they always do, slash and burn then say they employing X thousand later on - still thousands down on where they were originally.

It started in the police when they first got in, throwing voluntary redundancy around - starting with civilian staff.

They do the same with everything.

I wonder if it's in part their 'solution' to people in the UK under performing when it comes to how productive they are?

"If we make 'em do more work they'll have to be more productive, so lets fire half of them", except it doesn't work because people don't become more productive they just become overworked which means they're less productive. :sigh:

Our current Chancellor becomes the first frontline politician to be on the rich list at 222.

Express says nothing to see here and the Mail no longer seem interested in beer.

So I imagine on the back of the energy rise again due in October and Gray's report they'll time some sort of 'help' with the cost of living.

Look paupers, ignore all that there's something shiny over there ..

Boris going a bit red in the face in PMQs. Even mentioning getting brexit done. Must be feeling the heat.

Perhaps they'll give us a bigger not-loan to "help" with the increase in energy bills expected in October.
