For those who care, we finally have a proper UK launch date for Paramount's streaming service.
"Paramount+" will launch on June 22nd.

    Just binge-watched 'The Lincoln Lawyer'
Found it to be really good, similar to Goliath but I think slightly better
A surprising role for Manuel, but I think he pulled it off brilliantly (who was also in Goliath)

I think it's about time for my "every couple of years" re-watch of Stargate (incl. Atlantis and Universe).

Last time I did that the wife started whining. That was about 3-4 years ago. She is still going strong.

I am tempted to go again though. I do like me some Atlantis.

I watched the episode Cold Lazarus last night. It’s only Episode 7 (if you count Children of the Gods as being ep1 & 2), but holy… crap… that was incredibly emotional. Got proper weepy when watching that one!

I’m watching The Torment of Tantalus right now and I immediately recognised this mf’er

That’s an early appearance for Paul McGillion, who would later go on to play Dr Carson Beckett in Stargate: Atlantis.

I've rewatched the entire Stargate franchise a few times - it's surprising how many repeat appearances there are across the shows and time frame.

Taking a leaf out of the Star Trek book.

Edit: Speaking of Star Trek and actors, Armin Shimerman appears in Stargate as one of the Nox.

Why do I know tons of sci-if trivia and yet I can forget the ONE FREAKIN’ THING I went in the shop for?

I seem to remember noticing quite a few actors appeared in both Stargate and Star Trek (or DS9/Voyager).

But yeah, I can't remember who.

I've watched the first three episodes of Stranger Things 4 and I'm really enjoying it. It's feeling increasingly more like a return to the original series as the story unfolds and I like how they are building some of the new characters.

For those with Sky (and possibly NowTV, don't know if you can get on there) I've recently finished watching the second series of Resident Alien. Not quite the punch of the first series, but still very much worth watching. Alan Tudyk is still perfect in the role of the hapless but brilliant alien, and the rest of the cast are equally great in their roles.

On Netflix, I've just finished the series of the Pentaverate. Patchy plot with lots of seemingly unconnected parts forced together. But it's held together by Myers' humour, which I happen to like, there's a few 'almost repeat' jokes from his previous films, but overall enjoyable. If you're not a fan of Mike Myers, of course it's definitely not for you.

We watched Ep3 last night - it took a considerable amount of will power not to just fire up the next episode.
