They had them before we moved in but then we do back onto fields and then woods, rats do live here, it's just a part of life I guess. But yeah, anywhere where there's a snack rats will find it.

I like rats myself but then a friend used to have a couple as pets, adorable clever little buggers they were.

    Wild ones not so adorable.

More a bit of a pain in the arse, than life ruining...

Trying to set up a new recipient on my bank account. Twice just as I was at the point of getting a call from the bank, so I can enter a code on the phone, Mavolio jumped on my PC and pressed the power button, shutting it down, so I had to do it 3 times...

Little bugger! (or not so little, he's growing like the clappers)

Said goodbye to my old wharefdale's this afternoon. My dad got them for his birthday 50years ago, I've had them nearly 20years, genuinely upset me. Gave them one last blast before they left, been a while since I'd used them and almost made me change my mind. But they're too big for our little house and grossly underused, so off they went. :sigh: :waah:

    Are you using their superhub?
What do you get if you wire a PC in?

That was wired [and after having restarted the stupidhub]. and it's their v4? stupidhub [Arris TG3492LG]

    It's rectified itself [for] now.

[For reference it's normally ~950/50 wired and 450/50 wifi]

Being diagnosed with COPD (took 2 years to fully diagnose this due to COVID)
I also have a morbid fear of suffocation which doesn't help :( which leads to..
Agoraphobia, which again doesn't help with COPD :(

    Seems I have gone from Stage 1 (0.7) to Stage 2 (0.5 bordering Stage 3 >0.5) in less than 6 months :(

Sorry to learn that, mate. Are you managing it with steroids or have they just given you the "lose weight and exercise" schtick?

Mrs Crap's mum has this. Been mad watching someone go from working 2jobs and all hours of the sun and moon to someone who can just about manage full-ish time. Best of luck to you

It's cheaper to buy vegetable oil from Tesco! https://www.tesco.com/groceries/en-GB/products/254918073

I experimented with vegetable oil in a Citreon Xantia 1.9 Dturbo, many years ago, just to see how well it ran, it was fine. Didn't go any further then because the gain wasn't sufficient to make it worth taking the risk of getting caught. A more recent Diesel car may not be so happy with veggy oil.

If you run your car on home-made biodiesel, you're expected to pay fuel duty on it if you make more than 2,500L/year.

I wouldn't have used enough then to need to pay duty but, with the mileage I was doing then, the hassle of processing waste oil would not have been worth it. I am by nature, quite lazy...

Was unaware of that - that's quite a lot really.
To me that says basically, personal use is fine, but not business.

It seems to work, but not for the 24 hours it is supposed too, waiting for the licensing to change on it, so I can take it as a reliever as welll
