    Think you'd need something other than a razor for that.

    Volume 2. Kicking myself for not getting Vol 1 a few weeks ago when it was over £10 less. Ah well, just have to see if it drops again.

    I bought an adult thing. A new bed. I am looking forward to sleeping in comfort.

    This is not how I thought the message would end.

    Enjoy. Still searching for that elusive comfy bed. They're all too blummin soft.

    Currently spending a week on Corfu on holiday, so I paid for a lot of really good food at various restaurants, even more really good beer & wine, rented a car, bought presents for friends & family, ... And I haven't even the foggiest how much we'll have to pay for the apartment were staying in. I know it'll be cheap-ish in comparison to what I expect, that's good enough for me.

    I work a lot, so during a holiday I really don't care about money. Not that I honestly do back at home, most of the time.

    When I had the PPI money, 4 years ago, we bought a Sealy mattress for our bed. It’s firm with a foam layer on top. Wasn’t cheap but, it’s a damn good mattress.

    hah ! that made me laugh. Not because of you (honestly :D )

    My first wife... Her mother's family were all stuck up assholes. Her father's? grotty Italians. Her mother's maiden name was Sealy. So her father's lot used to call them the Posturepedics LOL.

    I've no idea why, I just had a hankering to carry a zippo again;

    But as I've not smoked in years n years it'd be daft to keep the internals which would let the fuel evaporate and be no use to man nor beast, so;

    Moves more air than any other fan I've ever owned, and (relatively) quiet while doing it.

    Only step up from here is a proper air conditioner IMO.

    Well, £83 from Costco but yeah, as the others have said, for the amount of air you get the noise is minimal. I would describe it as the Noctua of house fans. It is a lot of money for a fan but if it means I can sleep even the slightest bit better in this heat then its more than worth it for me.
