It isn't, and never was, about babies, the sanctity of life, or Christian beliefs. If they were truly "pro-life" then the US would have the best pre- and post-natal care in the world; they would have the best education system in the world; they would have the best child support and welfare programmes in the world.

It was never about being "pro life", it's about control. It's about being in a position of authority and control over others - in this case specifically women, but in other cases it's gay people, transgender people, brown people, poor people, etc.

Yeah, I get that. I'm not talking about the GOP power mongers, I'm alking about the ****ing morons who swallow their BS and actively support this sh!t.

And, apparently, Roe was just the start. They're expected to try and overturn several key rulings.

Contraception, even in marriage, same sex relationships and same sex marriage are next in the list according to at least one judge.

Some states have protections already in place for women to have abortions but if you're low on cash and stuck in a state where they don't you're stuffed.

Obviously not all encompassing, but it's nice to see some the major employers stepping up to include abortion travel costs in their healthcare plans.

Yeah I just read that. I mean they shouldn't have to but you have to deal whats thrown at you.

In all of this I did learn that Malta allows none. For anything. Even if it means the mum will die, which they have. Which makes no sense. At all.

That'll be the Roman Catholic Church at work I guess...
The Americans on the other hand, seem to be intending to rely on lead based contraception

You don’t get used to it, you just learn how to cope, if you can…

All true, but so long as there are people who continue to believe in a magic man in the sky, there will always be those who are willing and ready to exploit that lack of rationality to further their own agenda.

D... d'you think the readers notice? Or do they spend one day laughing about "the snowflakes who can't stand a bit of heat" and the next discussing "those terrible fires" without ever... recognising there's a link?

No, Mail readers do not notice. That's typical of the Daily Mail - if the readers haven't picked up on it by now they never will.

The few that do, usually aren't Mail readers anymore.

Definitely attracts readers who are not critical thinkers, otherwise they would immediately smell the BS and hypocrisy. Some people just love to be told what to think and believe because its easier (something something matrix analogy).

Bit of a national shortage of those. How else do you explain Brexit and 12 years of cruel, inhumane, corrupt, brutal, and ruinous Tory rule?
