5x Sapim Leader spokes for my old man’s electric bike from Custom Cut Spokes, Bournemouth. Excellent customer service, highly recommended.

I have ordered 25 120x38mm 12v ultra hi speed Panaflo fans. These things can push almost 115 CFM, won’t have to worry about my servers overheating anymore.

I just shut down all but the very essentials needed to run the house at the weekend.

Any amount of cfm of 40c air isn’t going to do you any favours

The office has air conditioning as does my bedroom. The fans are replacing some pansy stock fans which barely push a mouse fart around the room.

Turning off all but the essentials, everything but the fridge/freezer then?

My poor router, a Dell R210 II, has been spinning its little 40mm screamers quite quickly lately... Sometimes I can even hear it over the fans...

    40mm screamers, are they Delta’s?

Don't recall off the top of my head, but Deltas are pretty common in rackmount Dell kit.

Those yes, but I was referring to the gear in the comms racks - so the essentials that need to be running to answer the gate, turn on lights, control AV, the CCTV and obviously the networking required to plumb it all together.

Your last post seems to imply that you’re planning to use those 25 high speed fans in close proximity to where you sleep and or work... Show that heat who’s boss, I guess?

I have been looking for a pair of proper baggy cargos for years. Like, ten years. Every time I buy a pair they are not baggy and usually made like total garbage.

I know, it was a 90s thing. I just love huge clothes. I think its my autism, because if something actually fits me properly I find it so uncomfortable I usually just sit around my house in shorts.

Popped up. NOS from the 90s and really well made.

Currently in the process of planning a "Delta overhaul" for my PC (why not?), and have now got all the fans I need. On the left is a 120x120x50 counter-rotating jobbie from a Fujitsu server (I got two of 'em), and on the right is a 150x150x50 monster from a Dell server that is also very, very quiet at low speed, and it is earmarked for the CPU cooler.

I need around 250W of headroom for all the fans so I also got an 850W PSU to give me some wiggle room.

They both have very aggressively angled blades, must be able to shift a fair gale. I think we need another fan demo vid.

Why do I feel like an entire case of fans like this would be the "I'm tired of hearing anything ever again" setting

Mine without Deltas is like that at the moment. I have only some idea which one (or more) is doing it, adjusting my curves :worried: doesn't work and I never seem to have time to fix it. So I just turn the music up. Music can never be too loud.

Didn't one of the tech sites build a 5x5 or 10x10 frame of Deltas once? Can't remember why. They might also have made it take off, but I could be making that up.

I feel like I've seen a frame of Delta's ziptied together, so either we're sharing the same delusion or it happened.

That feels like it might be a Linus Tech Tips video?
