As small as full Intel and AMD processors may be, there are still smaller. I cant exactly reccomend these for hardcore gaming, but these are most definitely a neat way to provide things like webservers. Check out http://www.mini-itx.com to see how small a full IBM standard PC can be. (I love that windows XP box computer :D)

As far as I'm aware, you don't get "MIPS" processors. Saying a 400MHz MIPS proccessor suggests you have a misunderstanding. MIPS (Millions Of Instructions Per Second) is a measure of the performance of a processor. Another measure is FLOPS (Floating Point Operations Per Second).

I assume it is in fact, a 400MIPS processor, rather than megahertz. Or perhaps it is 400MHz, with a seperate MIPS value which you haven't mentioned.

Erm, sorry but the misunderstanding is yours :D www.mips.com is a manufacturer of processors usually used in handhelds etc.

My bad. I wasn't aware of a MIPS processor. It seems a little silly to call your processor by that acronym, though...
