Can someone find a professional padded carry bag type thing for carrying around my Samsung 191T (19" TFT) in. Ta.
Geargrip are the only ones that I know of that do LCD harnesses. Everglide seems to be the only UK retailer listed on GearGrip's site that carries the large ones, but they're priced at £47, which is a pretty big chunk of money.
Thanks for looking for me, those ones don't really seem that great though. Would rather have some kind of padded thing that goes all the way round the TFT. Then have like a single strap for carrying over my shoulder. It's just for carrying to lans and stuff.
That is an option that I may need to go to if I can't find anythin else. Surely at least one company makes carry bags designed specially for TFTs though. What does everyone else do when travelling to lans?
LAN orientated products are a very specialist market, there are very few people who go to LANs compared to the computing population. Mobile computing = laptops. It would be nice to have a TFT bag, if you find a decent one well done as I doubt there are any out there.
lol Kevo Atomic: Yeah, I know what you mean. However, LANs aren't the only time someone would need a bag for transporting a TFT. I'll keep looking around for something that'll do. Cheers guys.
I transport my samsung 19" tft around to LANs etc and use the 19" geargrip pro, was about £45 but it's worth it and offers more protection than it seems
The GearGrip LCD Harness seems OK I guess. Might just go for that. £45 would be fine. Not too worried about the cost.
hmmm, not really sure other than the Geargrip...was looking at getting one myself (for a 17") but they don't look too hot... might just get myself a nice aluminium, foam-lined briefcase style thingy, make a cutout in the foam, and attach a shoulder strap
