    Hey guys!
It's great to be back here at Bit-tech after an X-mas full of modding and ofcourse.... more modding! :dremel:
You might remember my thread from this autumn, when I was planning my new project.

I was going to make a Silenced compartment for my 2 HDD's in the 5.25", with the hdd's cooled by the nifty Zalman HDD cooler.
For extra airflow, I finally settled for the Enermax 120mm Fan with Clear fan blades.
I also added a Blue 10cm Sunbeam CCFL for effect :)

I spend most of X-mas modding and cutting, and now it's finally done.

(Here you can see the HDD-coolers)

Also, when I had the Computer turned off and stripped for the sawing, I took time to Sound-isolate the whole case, fix the cable-mess and add some nice Glow-feet.
I also changed the HDD/Power-leds to a pair of bright blue ones, and Added a led above the CD.

    The LED-feet... Fancy :)

More and better pics coming soon

the led feet are very nice, they are medium-bright... 500mcd or something. they glow a soft, dark blue.... makes all the difference...

    I got mine at http://www.eksitdata.se/_uk/index.asp

urgh, people, start modding yourself! I really don't understand how hard it is to put one led inside an acrylic circle/block. ;)

we order it over the internet..... or why dont you try working with what youve got e.g. sticking a few pieces of thinner acrylic together to give a kind of stepped effect...

Sorry, I didn't mean to direct this alone to you. It just felt funny when people where asking where to buy them and not even one said that "I really have to make these myself." :) More and more modding goods are available ready-made so it is quite natural that many of us will go out and just buy them. Is that real modding... you decide. :dremel:
