you could get small leds, hot glue them together at angles (a V shape) and point them at the light opening in the power button. then you could just wire them into their respective ports. the only issue there is that the power light would always be on. the colors would combine, which could also work to your advantage. red+yellow=orange. *edit* hot glue, not got glue
update!!! Heres an update: I put everything together to go to a small lan party. The hole in the powerbutton is filled with hotglue and there will be 2 leds behind. The switch is not yet mounted. My birthday is next monday and i hope ill get a rheobus. I will problably make a new front in wood for it and maybe a front for the CD-ROM. I have not yet solved how to hide the creative front thing. Then i hope to get some metallswitches for like ccfl n stuff, and put them in the emty frontplace. Anyway a pic 4 u: Yeah and the 80 led fan is going to be in the top-blowhole, not the back
Yeah and one more thing: Me and my friend is maybe going to use a computer controlled router to make alu waterblocks, if we do i will buy a Black ice pro and a pump and see if i can make it fit. If i do the tank will be shaped as a cdrom and will replace the empty cover. but that will be later.
Nice case. I'm also planning a wooden case but I'm stuck thinking about grounding the motherboard. I've looked at a few projects and no-one seems to care about that thing. Did you think about it or is it just not necessary to do it?
I don't want to hijack the thread but as I'm building a custom sized SFF your suggestion wouldn't work. I'll just follow the progress of this project and see how it works out.
Put a cushion on the top... Maybe no one with think of it and sit down... You've got a seat and a cool computer!
Hey everyone who thought this project was dead or something Its back up again and now im going for watercooling Pics later tonight...
the pics: Here's my computer while im working on the rest Panels for the front, left is intake for harddrive-cooling and right yet to be drilled for fancontroller. The 120mm red LEDfan, the thing that will be the reservoir and some hddbrackets (or whatever its called) The radiator adn the front of the case: I will do some shopping and then ill only have to assembly it all.
Love the wood, u deffinitely changed my mind about wooden cases. The addition of Orange LED's will look great. i would think about sticking with orange and leave out the UV. anyway keep it up and keep us up to date.
acually, i dont have any orange leds... There is no definate colortheme, the radfan is red, the systemfan is red and blue, the psufans is blue... and i cant afford new fans, not right now anyway
