Last show was either SYL/Devin Townsend Band/Zimmers Hole or Glassjaw/Dredg. Best band i've seen live is either Opeth or Black Sabbath. Other honourable mentions are Zimmers Hole, (Hed) PE and Tool.
Im going to that gig aswell Something Corporate are good live, as are Goldfinger, who when I saw them were supporting A (Brixton) and yet there are sooo much better than A! Going to see Brand New in a week and then Blink 182 at Wembley and as mentioned above Reel Big Fish and Goldfinger.
Helicon 1 is wonderful but my favourite has to be Christmas Steps on 'Come On Die Young' I have seen Million Dead live a few times, once when there were 30 people in the room. They are influenced by my favouriite ever band which none of you will probably have heard of - Joeyfat. Absolutly amazing. I like Biffy Clyro, well I liked them when they were what they used to be. they were incredible. If anyone is in Kent near Tunbridge Wells check out The Forum for all your musical needs. I'll usually be there. Maybe thats a reason not to come
Haven't got tickets yet need to get some. A couple of my friends went to the A and Goldfinger gig at Brixton. Saw Goldfinger at Leeds 2002 and RBF about a year ago in London. I've only heard a few Something Corporate songs but they're pretty damn good.
It makes you feel free. I saw RBF at Reading 2002, they were really good I just hate bloody crowd surfers.
I would go to so many more gigs if they were free and took place in my living room... oh well I saw RBF once too... but felt cheated, they turned out to be human...bah
The last gig I was at was Therapy? hehe.. they still rock. Before that was Biffy Clyro. Going to this NME awards show thingy tonight - Funeral For a Friend, Franz Ferdinand, The Rapture and the Von Bondies. Don't really know much about any of them. Looking forward to Mclusky in April, they are tremendous.
I've seen: Pitchshifter Amen Fear Factory Spineshank Cradle of Filth Korn Hot Hot Heat Puddle of Mudd Incubus Muse Raging Speedhorn I've supported: The Blueprint Milliondead Farse Pretty Girls Make Graves Number One Son Mercury Tilt Switch I'm going to see: From Autumn to Ashes - Feb 27th Placebo - 1st March Best one was by far Korn @ Manc. Eve. News Arena but CoF was damn good too.
yeah thats the line up of the NME thing I'm going to. I see mclusky in March! I can't bloody wait, I also think I have to do their sound! I love mclusky.
Lol, Andrea is one of the nicest frontwomen i've ever met. She signed my library card \o/ I'll get a pic. I asked if she'd go out with me but she said she can't cos she's dating the bassist Darn.
