Seat are part of Volkswagen Audi Group and as such share Volkswagen/Audi platforms, build quality and service...

    How about a Skoda?

    Octavia Elegance 1.9 TDI 110bhp Hatch £14580

    ABS
    Power steering
    CD player
Height and reach adjustable steering wheel
Central locking, operating from both front doors
    Driver and front passenger airbags
    Side impact protection
Third three point rear seat belt and headrest
    Body coloured bumpers
    Clear optic headlights
    Tinted glass
    Height adjustable drivers seat
    Deadlocks
    Immobiliser
    Rear head restraints
    Rear wash wipe
Electrically adjustable and heated door mirrors
Electrically operated front and rear windows, with one touch operation
    Front fog lights
12v power outlet in boot [Estate only]
    Air conditioning
    Radio/cassette 'Symphony' & 6 disc CD changer
    Remote central locking
    Trip computer
EDL [Electronic Differential Lock] and ASR (not 4x4)
ESP [Electronic Stability Programme] (4x4 only)
    16" Alloy wheels
    Climate Control
Variable boot floor [Estate only excluding 4x4]
    Electrically operated sunroof
    Central front armrest

What I'd go for... Maybe the Octavia Elegance 1.9 TDI PD 130bhp Hatch at £15420 if you could stretch...

First things that spring to mind about the skoda is my god thats a boring car :sigh:

Looks like a rep mobile rather than a hot hatch
Really is not what im looking for.

Im looking for something with alot more style. Two new cars which interest me are the 307 convertible and the meganne convertible but both are currently out of my price range :(

Dont worry yourself about it :)

At the minute my mind has changed and im flipping between a Civic Type R or a Seat Leon Cupra, both of which can be had for around £16000.

They dont have all the gadgets of the Stilo but there a lot sportier :)

Second hand cupra's can be found on seatenthusiasts.co.uk forum for a lot cheaper than that
