    2000 Nissan Micra GX Automatic.

Current mods: one electric window that's fallen out of its runners, one dent in the rear right door, and a bloody mess inside.

    I love my car :p

that 106 is long gone now

    in it's place is this:

Had my motor tweaked a couple of months back, just got round to sorting photos. Rest of car pics are on pg. 1 of this thread btw.

Not much to look at really, except the backbox with 4" pipe :

nice and shiny stainless with the Prodrive logo :) :

and the uprated intercooler hoses (I know, I know I need to de-gunk the engine bay !) Prodrive branded but I think they're actually Samco :

ECU has been remapped too so it now kicks out about 261bhp and 348Nm of torque at 3200rpms. The torque improvement is superb, really punchy. And the exhaust sounds mint. Now I drive through tunnels with the windows down :D

    I like.

Power Assisted steering on the A-reg version, woah.

My G-reg Volvo 340 1.7 GL has heated seats, electric windows, electric mirrors, loud custom aftermarket sound system but no power steering.

She only has just over a month to go then I am retiring her.

I most likley have the loudest Volvo 340 in the UK, but not in the world, I know someone in the US who had a 343 with twin Cerwin Vega Strokers getting 1000 WRMS each :eeek:

Current Mods: Purple Ronnie tax disc holder, good for an extra 40bhp "at the wheels":p

Personally, i love it! The looks take a bit of getting used to, but for a supermini it drives very well, does exactly what it should do imo.

I'd never heard of a Vauxhall Frontera, but from looking at pictures of some they do favor each other alot. It also goes by Isuzu Rodeo here in the States.

This is my usual ride in Seoul. When I'm in NYC, I usually walk. The subway is so much money now and it's good exercise.

Well, my own car, which i don't have pictures of, is a "91" Nissan Maxima with close to 200K miles on it. I love my car, its got a V6 and still gets ~30mpg highway. and yeah, i get annoyed with all the excuses people give for driving big SUV's and trucks when they don't need them. "I like being up higher so i have a better view of the road" yeah, whatever. In case you can't tell i absolutely despise SUV's and minivans, and i don't like trucks either. I look at a vehicle based on handling, ride quality, interior comfyness (i'm 6'2"), fuel economy, that sort of thing. my next car (once my current one rusts out from under me) will probably be a 98 Maxima, prefferably with standard shift.

    right...........

Rolling radius when the car isn't moving = not important
rolling radius when moving = as my car is on 15" its on the exact same size wheels as when it was on stock wheels, so the radius is no different if you knew your cars you wouldn't have asked that question.

as for the top speed its easy you put your foot on the peddle and go. it has a rev range of up to 8 grand, plus its a gti, hence harder seals in the engine and so will bear the pressure, better top speed in a 1.3 golf was quoted as 90mph and i got 110mph out of my old one on a stock engine. As we all know all speedos give a false reading as a manufacturinbg ploy, you see a high top end you think oooo fast car when actually they top out at a good 20-40mph lower than claimed by the speedo, a golf gti speedo reads up to 160mph hence 135mph was easy for it.

My cavalier exceeded the speedo w/o the governer slowing me at 109. my speedo went to 110, the 5 dashes for 115. when i topped it (porbably riding a little over redline for a few secs) the needle was bouncing a bit past the 115 mark. EDIT: by bouncing i mean it couldnt go any firther
