    Hey guys,

Wondering if you could help me out, im building my first rig and ive just put it all together. However when i connect the computer to the power supply, my motherboard comes up with a red led. when i actually turn the computer on it still shows the red led but also shows a green one next to it.

The computer is on cause i can open the cdrom drive, but it doesnt appear to be showing an activity onscreen, any advice?

I read that the red led indicates there is sufficient power to the board and the green led means no errors, does this mean my cpu is ok?

    Thanks, Ali :)

Are you getting any abnormal beep codes, i.e. anything other then just a single beep when you boot up? Does the cpu fan and other fans spin up? Does the monitor not just turn on? can you check with a different gfx card?
