seminal boston band pixies are to reform and play european dates in june, black francis,kim deal,joey santiago and dave lovering(the original line up) have been rehearsing for some time,have put there differences behind them and are going on the road in the summer including european festival dates.
This both thrills me and terrifies me. Pixies are probably my favourite band.. while i always regret never having seen them live, I can't think of any bands who've come back for a reunion and made a success of it. Either way, I'm buying a ticket for T in the park this week, there's no way I'm missing this.
i tried to get tickets for there 2 dates at the brixton academy at the beginning of june,they sold out in minutes.
