Looks good, but one thing, how will you fit a 290mm screen on a 260mm case?

Its gonna be in its own external stand. I'm going to put somemesh in the hole where you had your VFD to help with aiflow on the back of the motherboard. The prescotts run freakishly hot, and helping to cool the ack of the socket would really help.

    Dang, nice design.

I want to download that program but only 8 hours of design time. It doesn't look like it'll worth my time. Anyways, it's off the topic.

Hey dude, can you make that mobo available for d/l in the sketchup thread, and also, if you need blocks, Ouija has done some nice swifty ones already.

hehe, I never intended to make a highly detailed model, and it would be very hard to do seeing how this case is built around some nice curves. the motherboard is an mATX mobo thats already in the sketchup thread, i just recolored it and will be moving components so it matches. im not even using a 9800XT in that model. Its basically jsut a rough layout with better measurements than my hand drawings (and im too lazy to put my tech drafting skills to work)

Yeah, sketchup does that best. It's quite a bit easier with pre done components mind you. WHich reminds me - i should put up my single 120 rad soon shouldn't i?

Damn, I wish I didn't have to do this, but when someone doesn't release their email address I am forced to contact them this way.

Jewno, please email me: shadowspawn ( at ) adelphia.net or add me to msn (shadowspawn2000@hotmail.com). Yeah I know, but that email account can't get anymore overloaded with spam.

Ok, thread hijack over, sorry. :miffed:

Hey guys, my controller for the LCD will ship tomorrow, now I just need a way of getting -10v DC to it and I'll be set.

Best of luck with the controller. I tried with a 1330 and a 240x128 nd couldn't get it to work right. for the -10v you could try the one at all electronics but I don't thiink it has got the guts to drive that display. You might check the forum at Lcdinfo. There is a thread about different circuits in hardware.

Oh, my VFD went bye bye a long time ago, such a useless POS.
I have the hole open as well now to get better airflow.

yeah, I hope to buy a 21" LCD monitor to go with this project over the summer. I wanna try and use large things next to it to make it appear just a wee bit smaller.

You'll see my ideas come together for the display as soon as my order from usplastics arrives.

Cathodes for the baklighting just arrived, still waiting on the controller board which should be here any day. Then I need a way to provide the LCD wiht the negative voltages it needs.
