That is some fine dremel work. I cut out a basic window.. and that took me a while. You did an awesome job on the curves; any pointers? I noticed you're holding the dremel at an angle when you cut... does that help? I got a flexshaft too with some "free" money from sears, hopefully that helps out the precision work.

Once again, thanks for all the positive and constructive feedback, keeps me going! Sorry for the long delay, been busy working long hours at work for the last months. But now I'm back! First to answer some questions: The I/O panel is mainly connected to the backpanel on the motherboard, with cables and normal plugs, its just an extender. The USB and the audio in/out is connected to internal connectors on the motherboard. They are ordered from Fischer Elektronik, they have an online product catalog where you can browse trough a massive collection of heatsinks in all forms! Once you have found your product you have to order it trough an local reseller, they have a list of them on they're site. I ordered mine trough Ziehl-ebm here in Oslo, Norway. Yes, thats the whole point, by holding the dremel at an angle you are able to cut perfect curves. It will take some time, but the result is a perfect curve! And now, the update: Click pictures to see them in 800X600! I had to redesign the cooling of the north and southbridge, the original heatsink was not working well with the fan removed, not enough airflow. The solution was to get the heat out to the heatsinks on the side. This was achieved by placing a bent 3mm copperrail over the n/s.bridge and screw it onto the CPU block. This sollution was working amazingly well, as you can see of the picture. The CPU temp is stabilized around 45C when in use. The competiton on the logodesign was won by this design. The logo was engraved into the plexi with a dremel. Here's the logo finished, fastened to the top plate and lighten up by five blue leds. The next five pictures dosen't need any explanations, this is the final pictures of the finished project. -Its done! When it comes down to the software i still have som more work to do. But the main functionality is in place, just need some tuning here and there! I will post an update on the software part when its completed. until then: Take Care!
Looking well nice. Does anyone know where to get a CF to IDE convertry thingy in the UK from? or even SD or anything like that? My computing teacher was saying because there so much faster if you can put your swapfile on one of them it'll speed your PC up loads ... wanna give it a go. So, anyone got any ideas?

I really love this project! I'm building a Linux HTPC and I'm trying to lower the noise within the PC.. Right now I have only one 60mm fan cooling the CPU, but I'd like to hack the heatsink a little and to lower the frequency in order to run it fanless... Maybe I'll have a look at that site... Great Work!
