Hey Ouroboros..after reading about radiators on a few sites (including procooling) i found that for size constraints the black ice radiators are tough to beat. And from what I understand, they are smaller than the 2 you have listed. I ordered mine from DD, lets see how it stacks up.

i think i've also seen that the black ice is supsose to work quite well ....... myself i would go for the 2nd one ..cos i know it wil have less flow restrictions and more surface area

depends if u want quiet which is the thing for watercooling for a lot of people. the black ice need 125cfm fan on it to perform where the coolercore can have a 5v fan. the coolercore will also give better performance

Also the cooler core comes with 1/2 or 3/8 connections. The shroud (that tekheads don,t sell yet) stops air turbulance through the rad and therefore kills the noice level. It also places the fan 1" from the rad, the suposed "sweet"spot (I though you found that on your misses).

Because of the small size a lot of peeps fit them at the bottom of the case by the inlet fan, therefore fixing is not nessessary. I think anywhere else and you have to make brackets.

i don't know how wide the cooler core is ? but the heater matrix i got i think is about the same size .... it fits just tight enough to fit snuggly at the bottom of the case where the air intake is

I'd say get a black ice for size problems.

And why people always say that you need a 125 cfm fan on the black ice to work "properly" beats me.

What I understand is that you need a 125 cfm fan for it to achieve the manufacturers published performance.

Yes but not everyone has a radiator the size on the Eiffel Tower:p :p

I never found that dramatic increases in air flow made much difference to the cooling in normal use, as long as there is a little, fine.

well it's abit more the leaning tower of pizza now after my last re-build .. lol

if the water isn't given enough contact time with the rad it always makes it harder to cool the water

Lets have a pic of this tower?
Which of the Black Ice do ya think works best all-round,
    space, design, quieteness, efficiency etc...

Can someone link a good review to one of these pls and thanx
Black radiates heat better than any other colour - as if ya did'nt
    already know that. :)
What fans would be suited to the rads listed ?
