I'm not really sure if this is the right forum to post this question(if it isnt mod. please move this! ) but anyway, last night I got my computer back together after all the painting and what not, well my CCFL was working when i turned on the computer, about 30 min. later I noticed that it was...well...not..working. I checked the connections everything was tight, tried plugging the CCFL cable into the transformer in the second slot for the second CCFL, but it still didnt work, I even tried three different molex connectors. Still nothing . I was just curious if its dead, or if possibaly there is a thermostat in them and they shut off if it gets to hot in there(still dont have very good heat removal/cooling(next plan)) . Or if possibaly due to the CCFL tube itself is slightly touching the cahsis it would have shorted it out. any suggestions? I just got it day before yesterday so returning it is not a big problem. If I dont have to it would be nice. just needing some input...Thanks!
ERm yer take it bk, if its new. But if not, then it could have being a slightly defective bulb, these can be easily replaced, they cost bout £5 from Maplin.
