coolermaster crazyness....

    i was just browsing through the coolermaster site when i came across This Surely thats crazy and can only be used in a desktop pc and not a tower.

    The orientation of the heat pipe doesn't matter too much.
    That is one sweet heatsink!

    i ment for size, i.e. that things tall...i would imagin that it would bend the Cpu socket.


    also does anyone know what fans are in the CM201 case's?

    it looks far too heavy IMO.

    My CM201 from a while ago (2002) had YSTech fans in it

    Looks like it bolts onto the motherboard, which would at least take the stress away from the CPU socket. Of course with such pitiful processors as the Intel Prescott, and only that abomination of a CPU, coolers like this are somewhat necessary.

    I'm not sure my Coolermaster desktop case would have enough clearence over the socket for that. It would be close, at least.

    or maybe you'll have to lie a standard tower on its side.
