Allright this is my first post on the forums and since these are modding forums I figured I would show off my current mod project. For me this is project 3. Enough about me lets see what I have done so far:

Here is what I started with:

Here is how it looks after I sanded down the side panels and top:
Spent about 1.5hrs on each side panel and about a hr. on the top all sanded by hand without a sanding block.

(the top actually looks alot better but due to the light outside it looks dull.)

Here is the side panel after I cut out the first window:

Here is the Cut I did for the other side:
after 2 reinforced cutting disks and 30 regular cutting disks I came up with what u see in the 3rd pic :dremel:

Not much done here just cut out the stock fan grill off the front to allow greater air flow:

Here is a pic of what the front is going to look like:

And here is my most recent work which I did today:
Only took me about 3hrs give or take

Tell me what u think and if u have any ideas for me... if ya dont like it feel free to say but tell me why :worried: .

I will be sure to keep u up to date as I progress with work I don't have alot of time to work on it. :wallbash:

    MOD ON!!!!!!! :dremel:

Welcome to the forums B|ing :D

I dig the steel mesh for the front of the case. Very unique looking. I think it would look great if you stuck that mesh behind those rip cutouts in the side pannel and have a nice mechanical skin sorta thing going. You could even paint it black or something to give it a nice contrast from the brushed silver look.

Looking great. What else do you plan on doing?

The mesh looks really cool, and the rips in the side go very very well with the raptor theme. However, as G04t was saying, the drives indeed need some more work. Keep up the good work!

from the pics it looks as though the cutouts mounted on the drives are different sizes and the edges arnt too staight.
Just get some more alu and re-cut these. To get the shape the same you can clamp the two pieces togther and then file them.
If you do this carefully it usually produces two identical pieces.

The cd tray covers look like the edges aren't straight. Besides that, they're a few mm too small to fit in the gap, where they are supposed to be. Besides that, I really like the idea!

Yeah, if you try to put the picture URL into the adress bar, you'll see one of the qualities of Bit-Tech -> Bandwith limit reached... :D

Has nothing at all to do with Bit-Tech, people just host their pics on ****ty- ass "free" servers.

I have yet to see an ISP that doesn't give you at least 5mb's worth of web space for free. Hell, even AOL gives you that much... It's jsut a matter of learning to use an FTP program...

Can you tell it's my pet peeve?? :wallbash:

Sorry dude, can't comment on your mod because I can't see the pictures!

Most ISPs also have bandwidth caps on member pages. I believe mine is 200MB per month. Given how many people view this forum I don't think it would take too very long to hit that limit, especially if you used it for your personal webpage as well.

Well, it's still worth checking because it is usually better than the ad-laden "free" hosting sites out there...

FYI - My Cable-ISP (Adelphia) has no cap at all on bandwidth as long as you aren't running a commercial site they are OK. What ISP are you using, BTW? 200mb bandwidth is a really low-ball number...
