But why spend that much when you can get something like theD-Link DES 1210G 8 Port for only £12...? Pickup Netgear NICs for £10 and 305metres of CAT5 for £30...

    My parents and I talked.

my comp will be setup in the basement, I will have my precious wired connection, and If i beg and plead some more me and my dad will custom build a desk and electronics/modding work table for me. And i will get a large folding table to set up so that i can have friends come over for LANs.

I'll take that deal over a wireless connection in my room.

Do the fans on the back effectively cool any parts - I mean it looks as the they cool the Back of the motherboard.

yeah, there isnt much airflow in this case until you mod it. the top fan on the back is intake so its sucking air in for th fans on the radiator. I then cut away A LOT of the metal separating the two sides so that the front 120mm fan could help out with the radiator as well and the components. My nforce2 chipset gets VERY hot, so I am installing a fan in the window to blow on the chipset, RAM, and back of the graphics card

Morphine, great lookin case. I just got my YY Case in today. Have you tried taking the top of the case off? I need to pull the top off but it appears to be welded shut. Do you think drilling into the weld spots is really my only choice of popping it?

wow, havent seen this thread in a while.

I'm repainting the inside and outside of the case and I am going to rewire everything from scratch (make my own PSU cables and sleeve them) very soon.

I was thinking of using his spray on truck bed liner you can buy by the can. It says that it seals, protects, and reduces vibrations. As we all know, wibrations are a big noise maker in PCs and eliminating vibrations will help to quite down an already nearly silent comp. I will also be spray painting the entire case in a gloss black paint and perfect it to a nice mirror finnish. After going to as many LANs as this comp has seen, the paint is lookin a little worn in a few spots.

Afterwards, shes going up on ebay and the for sale sections of a bunch of forums.
