ive been talking about it for a while now every1 has feel in love with this mesh ****e, id like to point out iv e been doin pc mods with mesh for a few years now -but this is the first major one :D

Right This is the case iev bought and started modding a lovely pc-60>
    [IMG]

and this is my concept art (yeah i know):

this is the puppy in bits :) as you can see i spend no money on carpets :D just pc stuff
    [IMG]

    STEP ONE:
This is the first step, the dremeling

i cut the grill out of the rear exhaust, to enable better air-flow, and as soon as ican find a 80mm hole saw il do one below.

it was very easy to cut, due to it being aluminium, id hate to do dremeling on a stell chassis.

And this is the fooker that came out of it
    [IMG]

    STEP 2:
ive also now marked up the cut out for the front bezel, tis faint but its there.
i put some drapes up for because some1 asked for some drapes in the photos :S so i took the piss :D
    [IMG]

    STEP3:
this one was after 4hours of dremeling, as you can see on the right is the insert and drive bays i removed. - i didnt take a raw shot as i forgot so i dont a quick comparisson.

54 discs that baby ******ed - and the dremel packed up so i cant do much more
    [IMG]

and this is a quick shot with the mesh behind -all thats left is for me to attach the grill and cut out 2 drive bays and the USB hole at the bottom. i will be attaching the grill with clear silicon and the bays will be stealthed using the origional bezels.

i will be starting again soon, so some more piccys will be up shorty :)

Files, time and a lot of elbow grease. Its the best way really and it would look very good :cooldude:

Yep - lots of elbow grease instead of the trim will make this thing. It looks like you are headed the right way though. I think it will be a neat case. The only question I have is how much dust will be inside after running it for a while. That mesh won't stop much.

My first thought as soon as I saw the thing.

I do like the concept... though I agree on filing the edges. I'd also get a smaller size mesh.

Looks good, but I would never do that to a lian-li case. because the front of that's case looks so nice on it's own.
I will start a project sone also with a lian-li case but I'm NOT touching that front, it's way too stylish (and expensive)
