Project : a cool Coolermaster**Update painting**

hello there everybody

I´m from Germany and I´ve been watching this site for quiet some time now.
It´s one of THE BEST Casemodding sites I´ve seen. Some guys here are really SICK
you realy got kickass modding going on

ok so i got myself this coolermaster centurion tower

and i cant just sit there and watch it get old in THAT state
so time for some modding-action

I wanted 2 fans blowing the hot air out in the back.
and as the tower doesnt support 2 fans in the back something had to be changed





Here is the hardware that will live in the coolermaster.



this aluminum plate should do the job






but the 1mm aluminum was much to thin
so we used it to do another one but this time with thicker metall.






and the dremel after the show



ok so far so good

now i wanted the inner case to be black.







and as a modder you cant let the front untouched
after dremel action



ok so well modding from germany.

working on a timescale - has to be finished to 15.05.04 for the LAN Party

im going to do a biohazard theme cos i simply love the biohazard logo.
and the lighting will be mostly green with a bit of red.

im practicesing with the dremel for a big biohazard logo in the side window.
and it will change its color from green to red.

I have the Centurion just in black, very nice case!

You've already given me a couple of ideas, good work.

Although I don't know how you could cut the front up though!! I'm not touching that part of mine.

well we sprayed it with this


and then put this on


today i´ll be cutting up that front again
i had something like this in my mind:
a stealthmod for all the drives (only have 1 )
think they will stay metallic and put a polished/or painted aluminim plate on the front (the bit that is destroyed on the photo ) were me and a friend had a crazy idea

never too late to turn a good mod even better

if so its the aerocool Deepimpact 102 a great HSF i must say

i´ve overclocked my amd athlon xp 2500 to a xp 3200 (2,2 Ghz) and in idle the temps are stable @ 44 degrees

anyway, you should cut away the front grill too ... it obstruct alot of air

oh no here it cost about the same as a paint can - search around maybe you get it cheaper somewhere - i drove about 20 kilometers to get it at that price

with the air youre right
but when im finished there isnt going to be air coming from the front
well i dond´t need it realy thats why im modding the front.
but yes if u needed air from the front i would follow your instructions

yes the paint is smooth and is shining away @ the moment in my shed
only used 2 sheets of the "bunt lack" (black)
and after 24 hours 2 sheets of "klar-lack" to prevent it from coming of when hardware or so rubs against it - i tested it with my fingernails - cant get it of

so now im planing the motherboard side of the case.

Front is finished so far have to buy new aluminum to continue.
first Sidepanel Window (planning, drawing, cutting) finished.
second Sidepanel (planning, drawing, cutting) nearly almost done, few bits to do with the but again run out of dremel cutting blades
would love to show pics but my brother has the digicam and hes in england @ the moment
o well have to ask a friend of mine if i can borrow his
still got alot to do
