Hi, I recently posted som pictures of an old server case that I had at work(link) To day i am bringing this baby home!! The plan is: - Paint the mobo inside black non glossy - Add a lcd under the 5 1/4 slot at the right side *this lcd* - fix the wire mess with som sleeving *sleeving* - make a window, thinkink of a squer one, maybe cut out the cs logo in the left down corner and tint it..... - paint it glossy black, the front might be some kind of silver, dont know... (sugestions?) Soo today, when i get home from work I will take some high res pictures of it and the window... The hardware thats going inside it: - Abit IS7-E info - Pentium4 3.0ghz - Ati radeon9800PRO - 1024Mb ram (2x512) - Soundblaster Audigy2 - 2x120gb disks (one WD pata and one segate sata) - NEC dvd+rw - Generic dvd rom - 6-1 memory card reader Soo here are some crappy pics taken with my nokia 6600: My first plan is to add a lcd right under the floppy(floppy will be replaced with a cardreader) paint the fornt silver, exept maybe for the door on the right side (the one under the 5 1/4" bay, this will be black) As you can se the i/o ports fitt in perfectly... The plan was to make a custom psu cover and place it at the top right spot, using one 120mm fan maybee on 5 volt? there will be 120mm fan intake in front behind the door.. In the lower right there will be a blackice pro rad with another 120mm fan... The side view, there is aloooot of space in there the fan mounting is removed, and I will place the disks there, and have one 120mm fan in front blowing cool air over them, and out back... Soo expect an update soon, with pics of the window etc... \\Balder
Its an old alpha server1000, (alpha M (roman for 1000) This will house my main rig, currently sitting inside its dragon.. Im going home from work any time now, and might just start with the window \\Balder

N I C E But why do u put that small(what is that on english ), when u have so much space? I'd put some big with no fan...
I would biuld a fridge in there! Let your pc run at 1 degree ! But plz go for the watercooling.....you got plenty of roooooooooom. ~Xeno~
since the cd or dvd drive appears to be recessed very far in, are you going to stealth the dvd/rw drive?
Hehe, the cddrive is far in because it has no screws Tomorow i will post som pics of the front, and the window, if it's finished
Small mockup update: This is how the window wil look like, the downleft corner will be made like this, and when my dremel skill come around(if!), i will make it a counter-strike logo... And this is the front, the grey color will be silver
Small update! I got the lcd today, I have started to solder, but I'm not finished... Did some painting and jig sawing thoug: Here is the window, still need alot of filing, but this is the shape And the front, with the door painted black....
