Modding old scanner + modelcars + bordom = this :D

Ever since we got xp on the family comp about a year ago, the film attachment for the scanner is useless. As there is no way to turn off the internal ccfl/light.

so i grabbed hold of it and did this. a nice showroom kind of thing for one of my model cars!

what do you think?



its powered my the molex on the back of my antec psu, and the inverter is in the black box behind and to the right of the car

 

Looks cool, all u need now is for it to spin like at a motor show

Couple of spot lights up top and a turn table and you got yourself a mini showroom

 

now thats an idea, will look into making some lights for the top tommorow, its 12:46AM here *yawn*
