    disaster strikes me (again) *sigh*

Sooo I got my lcd, started to solder it to the controller card, and I slipped the soldering iron and wrecked 2-3mm of the circuit :sigh: I have tried to fix it but it dont work :waah:
Soo I will buy a new one, but its okay, the blue didnt fitt mey color scheme :worried: , so I will order myself a green one...

might just start sleeving the psu or something soon, and maybee test mount the w/c stuff

maybe it's possible to use a piece (like 1cm) of striped electric wire, use some tin, and then solder it as an bridge over the broken circuit?
I used that before, but don't know if it's possible at yours.

I don't like it when the front is made of different collors. I would go for the black. So the right pic. will do.

Soo, I bought a new lcd (20x4 lines greenbacklit)
And today I will buy som bondo like stuff, to fill the gaps of the old lcd and the holes where the buttons are.
I think that the front will be all black, kinda liked it myself

I did try to place the radiator, and it's to small for the hole in the back, so i might just do some welding...

hehe I did some thinking, and since I get 25000nok (2500£) in tax refund(or whatever its called) i might buy myself 2 pumps, nb/gpu blocks and a evo240 rad, and use the BIpro on the chipset/gpu and the evo on the cpu, but I'm not sure, might use the cash for something non computer related....

Used som plastic padding to fill in the holes from de switches and the lcd...

And added one layer of black paint to find the uneven places....

I will try to cut out the hole for the lcd tomorrow, and maybe paint the front...

Ok, I took a trip down to the lokal diy shop and got some glasfiber filler(??), from loctite...
Its some blue smelly stuff, they use it to repair cars, so that should be hard enough :naughty:

    More to come
