Site seems down , just got this msg

any ideas folks ? Not been over for ages as the site takes to long to load on my connection

 

always takes ages for me too, also don't like the flashy thing at the top

Yeah I gave up on the site bcos of it , and I'm now on a 33k connection so its worse !

 

Cant say I know whats wrong with them .... but I have to agree about the top ... its not 56k friendly at all

 

LOL the irony I've just checked my mail and they have sent one pimping their latest article , shame no one can access it

 

hehe i wonder if its something like ukgn not liking bit's traffic... seems a bit strange sending out a pimpin email if they knew it were going down for maintenance or something

 

And they wouldnt have removed all images and stuff very odd I have sent dremmel freak an email to find out wots wot

Hi guys.

PC PowerZone may well be closing down permanently due to personal issues and certain individual/s within the site 'throwing all their bricks out of the pram' if you get my meaning.

Can't say more at the mo but the site may well be down for good, just so many hassles with it I can live without. Decision soon.

Like to offer my continuing support to PC PowerZone.

I personally now how hard it is to run a site and I'm sure Koolvin will tell you some horror stories too. My own site has been affiliated for some time now and has followed his site closely as I do this one.

Unfortunately people will let you down, that's the way of the world. Not letting them beat you or affect you will be a better victory and sticks two fingers up in the air to them.

Everyone associated with my own site I know personally and speak to on a daily bases. I like the small site feel we have, as it's more manageable and controllable. Something you may want to consider.

Whatever decision you make DR do it for the right reasons. Sites like this one and yours thrive on support the readers give it. You must consider there feelings too.

 

Sorry to hear that man.. I know how tough it can be running a site and I don't get it half as bad as some people..I empathise with (what I assume to be) your reasons for thinking about closing down as I'm sure we've all been in that position..

Hell, I've thought about packing it all in before now and it's only been through a few lucky breaks that I haven't left. If those breaks don't come then it's down to what's most important to you (believe me, if it's personal issues then RL comes before a site anyday mate).

I hope that you get the opportunity to work something out and don't have to go to the extreme of shutting up shop. It's a good site you run there and it'll be a real loss to see it go, esp after all the hard work you've been putting in.

BTW - this is no publicity stunt like some other sites have done, if it goes down it will be for good.
