Right im starting a new project and having trouble deciding which case to get, its a hard decision. So i thought id bring the decision to you guys, so tell me what you think i should mod next. morgan.
go for the lian li pc71, mmm full black server tower you yank out the bottom hd cage, put in water cooling, instal your hd's in some of the 6 5.25 cages. Or perhaps a prommie cooling system. i wanna get one but at 330cdn it is out of my price range
it really does depend on what you want to do with it. I normally get some ideas of what mods i want to do, then decide what case i'm gonna get and base the mods around how the case is constructed. But Lian-li's are always sexy
Got 3 of them, there nice rigs. Orded 2 the other day off ebuyer cant go wronge for £23, not sure if it will look that good when chromed up, id have to do alot of work on the front of it to get to look good. I like plan aluminum cases cause i can do so much to them so far im planning to get a Wave, just cause it has such a nice front. Im leaning towards replacing the top with a custom cut fabricated top with intergrated grill for a 120.3 rad. Redesign both of the doors get them fabricated with a custom mesh design for the mbo side and a nice window with maybe some sort of logo lasered into it. The front of the case will stay the same except for the bit a the bototm right which will hav ea n lcd mounted in it. Then for the in sides i will remove most of the HDD cage at the bottom mount 2 C-system pumps, get them hard anodised black, have all a CD drive painted black. as well as house the HDDs in some sort of sound proofing thing maybe some zalman units. Then it will be time to send off the case to the chromers and get everything chromed, PSU, chassy, sides, tope etc... it will all come back very shiny . well thats the plan so far might change not sure yet still deciding on the case don't know how it can be such a hard decision :S morgan.
