Okay, I just found this thread so I have been reading 54 pages in a half hour. I skimmed some of the posts, and I know this was posted but I don't know where. I want to do some type of rust sceem on a case, and I want to know what exactly he did to make the paint not flake. Clearcoat? Varnish? Thanks in advance.

Those where some sweet links. The fans are all cool as hell. The cases from the last link where pretty cool to. They seemed manufactured or somthing. But they where still very cool mods.

LoL, Piloux, you are now infamous and famous worldwide for this rustic (Or should I say rusty?) work of art. Great work :D Now mod an LCD into that theme :hehe:

This is really incredible - well done!

What exactly are those Festo things? In the pictures, it looks like one has a pump, but the other not. Also, why do you leave air in the top of them - does the water cyclone around inside them?

those festo things are water filters that are used on largeish air compressors.

    kudos piloux, top work indeed.

Alternate Current and Direct Current aren't exactly the same, they may have the same voltage but not the polarity, the direct current has the same polarity all the time (+,-), and the polarity of the alternate current varies in time... :hip:

this is a really good link, I knew it , these mods are awesome, this is a :thumb: professionnal modding example

you have to paint with primer first and ovec metal it is ok , with plastic you have to use clearcoat / varnish to be sure like I did on the keyboard and mouse

héhé , when I get time enough ;) may be I ll start a new project soon :D

thank you for that precision :)

I found this case mod off of slashdot. I do a bit of modding also, and I have to say, your case is truely inspirational. Just telling one of my friends the work, detail, and overall look of your case, he instantly asked me where I could show him it.

Good luck man, you better finish this case....I'm getting anxious. :)

hey you guys, lets not forget all the other awesome modders out there who helped to inspire piloux, and their great accomplishments as well. There are many people who have made amazing things in their modding careers. Dont just make accounts for the sake of slathering praise all over one case; take a look around, and observe the works of the other greats that are to be found on this forum. You wont be dissapointed.
