So, i have never modded a pc before but i decided to go ahead when i saw this forum and the beautiful creations in it =) I have always been interested in modding a pc so i wanted to give it a go. I've got 3 guides from an very nice member and when i had read the 3 guides i started to get some ideas. -Some windows on top and on the sides -New holes for fans -Wheels underneath -And something thats still secret... This is the case: Measured out and used this plastic bucket to get the rounded corners: Then measured out a secret thing in between Then measured out an place for a fan, the removal of the old leds spots and a new power button on the front: Its always something to start with I need some ideas for the place were the 3.5 floppy disk has been.
Looking good! It might be an idea to resize the pics (800x600 is a good resoloution to use) and then use the tags so that we dont have to click the links... modders are lazy Good start though
Hi my scandinavian friend I like your ideas and work so far (can you just give us a hint on what the secret is? I'm dying to know!). God luck with your project I'll stay tuned
Nice case to start with Where the floppy drive was you could put a rheobus.... or an LCD display... or a card reader.... or ports that you would want to access without crawling back behind your comp like headphone jack, USB, FireWire or whatever... Or you could add something completely different Mod on (I didn't know we were so many swedes here )
Good luck! Jump in and have fun! I think you will find it quite a bit easier than you first thought. I know i did. These comps only look complicated! Corse havent done any custome wiring and lcd stuff yet. Yet.
General wiring LCD to PC instructions! http://www.lcdstudio.com/e107/article.php?8.0 as the bold line says... its only for wiring, how to config it I dont know
