Bowling anyone? thanks it's from my "bowling shirt" collection. I usually wear an old T-shirt when modding.
Update 2004-06-08 Well I got tired of using the old backup system. (dual 500MHZ with 1GB RAM). So I decided that since most of my plexi work was finished I would put back together the old chasis. Enough talk, I know what you all want! Pictures I got a new toy! First I put the Mobo/IO tray together, This is the piece I still need to make out of plexi. Next i put the outer frame together. Here is the whole thing put back together. Next Update 2004-06-11 Hint I'm breaking another rule! 2004-06-17 Long time no update. I have been playing with my new hardware In my last update I hinted I was going to break another rule. So here we go! Pictures Mmmmmm.. a package from Newegg, what could it be? Memory and a video card! So much for keeping costs low! Nerd sex! I didn't waste time putting it in. Aquamark3 scores before RAM and video card. Yes it took forever to run. Aquamark3 scores after RAM and video card. MUCH BETTER! I had a bit of a headache with the card. First I updated my chipset drivers for my mobo. Next I unistalled my current video card. Then I installed the new video card. Windows would boot, but the explorere shell wouldn't come up. After an hour or so of troubleshooting, I decided that it would just be easier to reinstall Windows. That worked, but the computer was unstable. I changed my BIOS to run my memory @ 266 instead of AUTO and that fixed my stability problem. It's great to be able to watch TV on my computer, especially when I take my work home with me. Needless to say I didn't do any modding they've put the thumbscrews to me at work recently. I hope to get some modding done this weekend, so watch for updates early next week. Next Update 2004-06-21 Second color coat and finishing the plexi interior. Yeah, I'm still here. Hey Tech-Daddy. I'm still here. I have had some personal issues that have required my attention. But I plan on finishing up this mod soon. Thanks for reminding me to finish
