i have x 2 of these ( http://www.overclock.co.uk/moreinfo.php?id=128 ) YSTechs 45cfm 3 pin exhausts ( 2.76 watts each ). I have connected these two fans up into one 3 pin connector, which i am currently running off my psu via a converter. now im just wondering, combining that wattage - lets say 5.5 watts, this will sure blow the heade on my mobo right? ( asus a7v266-e ).

the other option is to possibly run the monitoring lead off the 3 pin into the mobo header to read the rpm, but most importantly - how will my mother board react to the 2 fan being connected?

    /Reaches for A7V266-E manual :D

4.2 watts is the maximum for each header, so 2x 2.76w is too much mate :(
