overclocking time

    i'm getting back into gameing and i know that only means one thing...overclock my vga and goo guidees on how?
    i have a Nvidia G-Force-FX 5200 128mb

    Rivatuner is an excellent program that will allow you to overclock your graphics card.
    It was originally designed for nvidia GPU's but has now been developed to include ATi cards also.

    Once you download and installyou have a vast array of options available to you, you are initially only interestet one tab.
    You will see a small flashing triangle on the right, click that and another section will slide out.
    Look for the pic that looks like a small IC Chip and click.
    You will now have two sliders, one for GPU memory speed and another for core speed, gradually move these up a little at a time bechmarking inbetween to test for stability.

    Thats overclocking your graphics card via rivatuner (well the very basics anyway).
