I received this mouse with a bunch of other old computer stuff I collect, but I have never seen anything like this mouse, and neither has anyone else I know. The company is Key Tronic, a company I never heard of, probably died long long time ago. It says made in USA although it has several german words on the bottom. Does anyone know anything about these things?

Hahahha, thing is though, they aren't balls. They are kind of like wheels, with a beveled edge, sorry for the crappy picture. Its simple how it works, but I still have never seen anything like it.

One ball for X axis, and one ball for the Y axis I guess.

It's unique, does it work still?

Yes, thats exactly how they work. It's actualy quite intersting, lot more circutry than most ball mice, yet they work just about on par with normal ball mice. Used to have one, but I broke it after I allowed my sisters dog to chew it

You people keep saying its a ball mouse, but it really isn't. It has no balls. its a woman mouse. It has the wheels, and they work just like zap says. Yes it still works fine, but since its serial, its not as smooth as a ps/2 or usb mouse.

My mouse has no balls, but it also has red light shooting out of it. What gender is my mouse?!

Not sure if you we're reffering to me or not, but I never mentioned that it was a ball mouse ;) Just stated that it worked as well, if not better than a ball mouse. Ah well, maybe the four boddingtons have finaly kicked in :D But anyway, haven't seen one riped open in a while (been over a year since I got rid of mine), crack 'err open so we can see (violate it :D)

Malfoleo, I was referring to Zap and Fathazza. I guess I could open it up, if I think I can put it back together. The thing works, and may be a valuable antique someday ahaha :D
