I got an idea for the dvd rom drive. Why dont u put a slot loading dvd rom drive at the top of the case and stealth it. Also put some blue leds in the dvd rom drive. Put bright ones. It would look awesome and go with your case. It is also something alot of people havent seen before in a casemod and didnt u say that you wanted to do something different in a case mod. You already made a wonderful case but there are still things u can and on too it.

Time for an update, ain't it ;) ?

    Update 7:

Fear the modified Black Ice Pro I :hehe: .

    The fan attached.

The front of the rad (bondo-ed moddersmesh into it)!

New attachmentplate made for the radiator.

    Yes! The radiator is installed!

    Closeup

Picture from the inside. Here you can see how the tube is guided to the radiator.

The tube from the reservoir to the radiator runs beneath the mobo.

    The whole case so far...

    The front under UV-lightning!

The inside under UV-lightning (however the effect on the photo is bad compared to the effect in reallife).

Hang in there for the next update :baby: .

Well that was about 12 hours of work, maybe more haha! I dremeled all the original mounting away. (Sorry no pics, I forgot). Then I got a "naked" radiator. I mad new plates for the mounting (like the one with the large 120mm hole and bondo-ed them in. Then I also bondo-ed the moddersmesh into it and 4 M4 nuts (don't know for sure if you call them that way, the things you screw onto the bolt). Then I primered it (masked the fins) and painted it black. That way I could screw it onto the case with 4x M4 bolts without having troubles with holding those nuts (hehe) etc...

It was a hard job to do (definitly because you have to be carefull not to drop some bondo onto the fins, coz then you're screwed!!) but the result is astonishing :) .

You mean if the case is going to take part in casemod competitions ?

If so, I don't know. Thinks so if I find a compo where it is possible for me to join in ;) .

Impressive, very impressive. I like the clean nature of the front pannel. I will have to have a more carefull read to see what is happening with swtiches and drives etc.

But I must say I do like the overall looks and feel of this mod! :thumb:

    Very very sweet!!! :thumb:

the front panel looks great, and the bondo-ed radiator looks absolutely stunning!!!
And it looks very clean, without loads of wires all around the place! I suppose its gonna look a bit more cluttered when you put the pump in tho.

And i'm not too sure about the multi-coloured-UV-ness of it all, but as long as you like it, thats fine by me.

P.S. The tube going from the vid card to the res. looks like it has to bend a fair bit. It may just be the pictures, but are you sure its not going to kink?

    again, well done :thumb:

Very nice work up to now. I really like the clean front and the opening for the radiator is simply wonderful!

Waiting to see how you'll manage the openings for the optical drives...

    Nice job
