[Translation] damn, we norwegians are born modders, don't you think [/Translation] hehe well.. we have to see about that... maybe I'll screw up with this bondo... right now the front is drying (well some of it, I haven't started on the gaps yet...).
While I totally concur with your statement about us norwegians being born modders, I would still like to point out to you that this is not a norwegian forum. Hence it is considered not polite to write in norwegian just because you can. As the saying goes: "When in Rome, do like the romans!" One should always keep in mind that maybe there are others who can contribute and/or have some information regarding the subject one is inquiring about. This was not the case this time, but just for future sake, keep that in mind. [/OFF TOPIC]
Bondo applied Hi. today I have applied the bondo on the holes where the buttons used to sit... I can't wait to sand it down
Dragon Fixed I have now applied bondo on the scratches i made on the dragon.. I'll sand it either now, or tomorrow...
good mod dude! this is the first time i've actually read one thoroughly [instead of just skimming through] since mr. zapwizard's ammo box [well, maybe there was one or two exceptions]
hehe thanks both of you. I'm honnored, theagent! If I only was 1/10th of the modder zapwizard is, I would be amazingly good!
i think we all wish we had some of the powers that make things like the Orac³ or the ammo pc zap made. i think there are two reasons your case caught my attention: 1. DRAGONS 2. Woman fan grill just kidding, actually it was your jagged windows. i saw them and send "what the hell is that? i like it!"
Love the effort but i still feel the grill sorta spoils it, no dragon fan grills about you could mod?
no leeum.. I Can't find any 120mm dragon fan grills. I'm wondering if I should just leave the radiator without... maybe I just put the star catode grill underneath the fan so the green light will shine underneath my computer.. I haven't decided yet. The things I consentrate about now is: *bondo the front *prime and paint the doors *engrave the windows *cut two holes for the screws, so the fans in the back will be attached with 4 screws, instead of just 2.. the rest I will do after I've done the things above
you could always have someone make the grill for you, like with a CNC router or a laser cutter. http://www.directron.com/120dragon.html i would not recommend the dragon head one. with all that metal blocking the fan you can get whistling noises
Fan dukt glued Hi today I have Hot glued the fan dukt so is will stay in place whan I start to bondo.I also secured the bondo I have applied, by using hot glue on the back of the bondo.. As you can see I still have a little sanding to do before it is totally flat.. and I have to use a little more bondo on the edge so It will look better. Here's the backside glued...
Gaps in front Bondoed! Today I have applied bondo in the gaps in the front panel! It really took quite a lot of bondo, but I still have one and a half box left (why did I buy so much? ). Well atleast I have bondo for my next project Enough talk, over to the pics: I have to apply another layer of bondo after this layer has dried... to get the surface as smooth as possible.
