Hey Nice work. It is not just the talent and the vision for your ideas, but the fact that you see them through to completion. There are a lot of unfinsihed mods on Bit-Tech and really everywhere. Thanks for sharing the process with us and the inspiration overall. I am sure it will continue to be rewarded.
these finals pics are so nice , you ve done a great job over the shuttle , the lightning effects are really amazing...this is a top quality work
Great, simply great. Congratulations on a job well done. Your sponsors should be very very pleased. This mod rocks.
i bow down before you... now Zap, lets see you get your feet wet I want to see what you can pull with watercooling...
Sorry mate, you're gonna have to close this thread- red Xs . Teasing aside, is it just me or are the last pics broken?
As above, my server has bandwidth throttling. To prevent it from crashing, it starts skipping files. This means you may see red x's, if so, just press refresh, and they should show up.
Great work Zap! I'm really inspired by your amazing work, and how much detail you put into your work and how you always make something one of a kind. I feel sorry for other states. Seems like Texas always has the best modders. Will you be displaying it at the next txgf? It always looks 100% better when you see it in person. So, could you explain how your sercurity module works? Sounds very interested if you don't mind me asking. I also really love the military style connecters. Do you have a guide up that explains how you do this? Keep the great work up. I'm sure Ati will be very happy.
I have no idea if I will have the PC for TXGF. The security module basicly protects three things: If any of the four USB devices is unplugged. If the case is opened. Or if the power plug is removed. The circuit is simple, but sorry I am not posting it. All you need is simple transistors, relays, and a buzzer.
So an alarm goes off if any of these parts are removed? Interesting. Should be able to scrounge up a diagram for something similar online...
Another excellent job Zap! Congrats! BTW, you should show this to the guys at Rage3d.com, I'm sure they'll love it. Looking forward to the next project!
great work zap! im sure you could think of a way to light up the radeon logo... Im planning to use some el sheet on the psu on my shuttle, but i need a window first! anyway, looks great. RoB
looking good, u can feel the effort. Have ATI and/or AMD taken delivery of it yet? I'd like to know their reactions.
Could you explain what the security circuit actually does? I mean like if the key is here you can do this and this, etc. I understand that you dont want to actually explain how it works, but i am curious as to its features. Thanks, and great work!!
There is a thread at Rage3D.com, it's linked in my first post. I will be lighting up a new ATI logo, and adding lights to the PSU side of the case, so it should be more visible after that. I took the PC to EverLAN (www.everlan.net) ATI was there and they loved it. They have not taken delivery yet, as they gave me a X800 Pro card to use, and so I will modify that, add a few things and have the PC done for QuakeCon. I have explained the features quite a few times, but here ya go: The Security circuit protects the case from being opened, any devices from being un-plugged from the front of the case, and the case being un-plugged from the wall. QUOTE=Buzku]Best mini-pc mod I have ever seen![/QUOTE] Thanks.
Sniff, ATI took it back I think the ATI guy just wanted it for himself. ------------------------------------------------------------------------- Here are some images from the EverLAN.net event: My full log is here: http://www.zapwizard.com/Events/EverLAN04/Index.html
