how do you guys afford all this stuff. geezus christ. i have $120 in my drawer right now and i have a costo computer. a costco computer. i guess i have to live a life of crime.
Jup, take a job, and plan your mod good. Know where to buy the stuff. Or you always can go and built getho mods
Sometimes I feel the same way. I am a grown man working full time making good money and I still have to watch how I spend my money. lol I can afford and do most basic stuff and mods, but seeing some of the projects and the money put into them blows my mind. But as the others said, a job is the key my friend.
don't we all.i've got £1700 in my bank but £1051 is being taken out for my car insurance.then there's running costs for my dudemobile.then there's the £180 need for my lift pass next year in whistler.so i'm down to about a tenner left to spend on my PC.damn blairs britain is expensive.
whistler? as in british columbia? anyhow, i'm a bit tight for cash, i've had two years of being a student with no time to work when i'm at uni but luckily this year i'm doing a placement so actually gonna have some income
i know a thing that you NOT should do and that's steel money from your mom(or dad) i did that about ½-1 year ago and when she noticet i had done it she was angry has hell (but i do know why)
i have no social life (still go to school though), live in my parents basement and have a income of about 500~$us weekly, i have 11,600$ in my account and about 2000$ in checks i have yet to put in my account sitting on my desk next to me now that i think of it the last time i went out to do something "social" was about 3 years ago
I have no social life too, but I don't have that much. Life is unfair. And I'm a terrible modder, so it evens out.
I do odd computer jobs for people, usually charging them about US $20 for something simple and upwards of $50 for uber complicated stuff. Makes people happy, I'm cheaper than anyone else around, and helps pay for parts and mods. Its sad though...no matter how hard I work, I'm still stuck with my AMD k6-2 500 mhz. *sob* Oh well...I guess its reliable.
